VARIETY FEATURES

REGISTRATION YEAR: It is a local variety and has been developed by our engineers. In 2013, a new production permit was obtained.

MORPHOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: It is a kind of white spike with awn and its spikes are long and side has an inclined structure. Plant height is 85-100 cm. The grain is red colored, hard-semi-hard and large.

AGRICULTURAL FEATURES: It is a winter type and its resistance to cold and dry conditions is very good. Tillering capacity is quite high. It is resistant to lying under normal conditions and has a high yield potential. (550-970 kg / da.) It is a variety recommended for all regions where kush is cultivated in Marmara region. It can be grown in any type of soil. The amount of seed to be used should be 450-550 grains per m2 (18-22 kg / da) and the amount of fertilizer to be applied should be 13-16 kg / da of pure nitrogen.

PATHOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: It is resistant to yellow rust, brown rust and coke and root collar diseases. It is resistant to powdery mildew.

QUALITY FEATURES: Bread quality is a good variety. Thousand grain weight 38-45 gr. hectolitre weight 76-82 kg. Protein rate 13-15%, Flour yield 68-72. Sedimentation 45-55 ml, Delayed Sed. 43-58 ml, Gluten 35-47%, Gluten Index 70-80, Absorption ratio 60-70% and Energy value between 250-295.
